πŸ“£ Announcement: Expansion of Same Day Access Services

Starting July 14, 2025, Same Day Access (SDA) services will be offered on:
πŸ•’ Mondays and Tuesdays
πŸ•— 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
πŸ“ At both our Gloucester and Essex Counseling Centers

What to Expect:

Same Day Access provides timely behavioral health screenings and assessments without needing a scheduled appointment, allowing individuals to begin services faster and more efficiently.

How SDA Works:

  1. Walk-In Availability:
Individuals seeking services can walk into designated MPNN BH locations during posted SDA hours.
  2. Initial Triage:
Upon arrival, individuals complete a brief triage process, where staff assess immediate needs, safety concerns, and determine the appropriate level of care.
  3. Clinical Assessment:
Qualified clinicians conduct a Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) to evaluate mental health or substance use needs and gather background information.
  4. Service Recommendations:
Based on the assessment, staff provide referrals or linkages to the appropriate outpatient or community-based services offered by MPNN BH or partner agencies.
  5. Follow-Up Planning:
Individuals may receive peer support, crisis intervention, or short-term planning to bridge the gap to ongoing care.

Who Can Use SDA?

  • Adults, youth, and families in need of behavioral health services
  • Those experiencing mental health or substance use concerns
  • Anyone unsure of where to start but needing immediate support

What to Bring?

  • Insurance information (services are available regardless of ability to pay)
  • Any current medications or health info relevant to care

Please Note: Wait Times May Vary

  • We are committed to providing quality care to everyone who walks through our doors. However, Same Day Access services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and wait times may vary depending on client volume.
  • We kindly ask for your patience, as you may experience a wait of several hours before being seen. Your time and well-being are important to us, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to serve each individual with the attention they deserve.
