Peer Recovery Services

What is Recovery Services?

Recovery Services is a program that helps people who are dealing with substance use or mental health issues. We want to give them chances to recover, find work, and get support from others. We help the Middle Peninsula Northern Neck Behavioral Health area with planning and leading recovery programs.

What is Peer Support?

Peer Recovery Specialists (PRS) are people who have been through substance use or mental health challenges themselves. They help others by sharing their own experiences and connecting them to helpful resources. They offer support and hope during the recovery journey.

Recovery Support Centers

We have two Recovery Support Centers, one in Gloucester and one in Warsaw. These centers are run by recovery professionals and volunteers who have lived experience. You can come in, relax, enjoy a coffee, and use free Wi-Fi. Join us for activities, classes, and support from others in recovery.
